My Journalism Experience

 

Produced and Hosted Popular Canadian Podcast – Co-Founder & Head of Legal/Media Department | Feb 2020 – Dec 2023

  • Co-founded a national, student-led alternative media organization to address Canadian political issues with a mission to promote open dialogue and provide a platform for underrepresented perspectives.
  • Led all legal and media operations for the organization, including guest outreach, interview design, academic research, and editorial story development. Ensured that interviews were conducted with professionalism and journalistic integrity.
  • Produced and conducted interviews with a wide range of high-profile professionals, including NASA scientists, Ivy League and Canadian university professors, Olympic athletes, and prominent political figures.
  • Designed and delivered fact-based, balanced content that reached tens of thousands of viewers across Canada and internationally.
  • Earned public praise and professional recognition from prominent Canadian journalists, including Trish Wood (former CBC investigative reporter) and Rex Murphy (former CBC host and National Post columnist).
  • Managed and organized a nationwide network of thousands of student members from post-secondary institutions across Canada. These students represented diverse academic disciplines, including law, medicine, business, and political science, contributing to a broad, interdisciplinary media effort.
